Return
Policy Details
Platinum
Wedding Band Sale wants your experience with us to be easy and
hassle-free. If, for any reason, you are not completely
satisfied
with your
purchase, you
may return the purchase within 10 business days of
receipt
for a full refund or exchange.
A completed
RETURN
FORM
( Within 10 Days ) is required so we can send your
return
label and obtain insurance for the return package.
Upon
completion of the return form an address label will be sent
to
your email . After this you have 3 working days to complete the return
shipping
process.
The Process:
On
the return form please mark if you prefer to drop off the
package
at a "Employee Staffed" FedEx location, including FedEx Office
or have a
driver pick up the package. You
cannot use a drop box under any circumstances as that will void all
coverage
and the loss, if any and return
cost will be your responsibility. You
cannot alter the address label in any way. You must not use
any
jewelry related terms on the package and you must follow the double box
guidelines outlined on the return form and email
confirmation
page.
Shipping Refunds.
Most
packages are sent without additional cost. If you added Next Day
shipping fees to your order those fees cannot be refunded.
Refund:
Upon
approval, refunds are issued via the original payment method.
For example, if a customer paid via Paypal, any necessary
refunds
will
be applied to the customer's Paypal account. If you paid by
M/C
or Visa, they will be applied back to your card unless you also
have a
Paypal account the refund may go into your Paypal account
directly and not appear on your credit card statement.
Please
see your Paypal account policy for details. The same is true if you
used a transfer or check as those will also go into your
Paypal
account until you transfer back to your standard banking account.
In rare
cases, circumstances may require that we issue a check to the customer
via USPS
mail when
an additional refund is due.
F.A.Q.
Responses
to the most frequently asked questions regarding our Return Policy are
shown below:
1.
Do I have to
use FedEx.
You may specify to use UPS if FedEx is
not available
or hard for you to work with, Email for details. Same conditions apply.
2.
I purchased from Platinum Wedding Band Sale so why can't I return it to
the same company name.
If you would use the name
Platinum or Wedding band on the box it would most likely
not make it to the destination. SOMEONE
WOULD STEAL IT!
3.
FedEx counter people want to know what is in the box.
None of their business. All they need to
know is it
does not contain restricted material or dangerous goods.
4. FedEx counter said the account
number and your name does not match.
Another security measure. If they must
they can call
the account holder on record and be approval.
5.
Why do I have to double box. The counter person said not to do it.
I am getting really tired of these
counter people.
The reason for a double box is most theft occurs in hidden areas
of the shipping process. The less than
honest person
will slam the box against a sharp corner forcing a teal that
could appear to have
happened naturally. They will then shake
the
contents or grab whatever is inside. The double box makes this process
take too long.
If the first tear does not produce
results they have thousands of others to try it on.
6.
How much insurance should I buy:
None. I take care of all insurance when I send you the label.
7.
The counter person wants to know the value. Should I tell them $1900.00
since that is what I paid.
NO, tell them " ZERO " No value.
8.
Declared Value Box.
Again
place " 0 " in the value box. I cover the value with an private
company. FedEx & UPS have nothing to do with
it.
9.
Are you a little paranoid about shipping theft?
Yes, more
than a little! Learn my lessons the hard way a long time
ago.
10.
Can I return at my own expense to save all this work.
Yes,
you are free to return the purchase using any shipping method you like.
Personal drop off is not allowed. You will be 100%
responsible
for the value and safe return of the merchandise to the address given.
Just note that most FedEx and some other
shippers
will have a $100.00 to $500.00 limit for jewelry. USPS and UPS may
insure for higher amounts and the cost will be
substantial.
If lost or stolen you could be looking at 60 days for a
shipper to approve and process a refund .
11:
If a loss happens using your return shipping, What happens ?
The package
is 100% insured the second FedEx or UPS scans the label. From
that point on it is monitored by
the
insurance provider. Since they insure for the jewelry industry they
have seen all the scams before. In case of loss I
rely 100%
on their research. If FedEx or UPS lost it in transit you get
a full refund.
If
you or your representative you trusted to take care of the
return
did something , not totally honest, the claim would be
denied and
no refund would be issued. They may file charges for
insurance fraud since that would be what it is called.
